In windows Explorer, why are the folders and files always reverting back to
LARGE ICONS even after I continually change them to DETAIL VIEW?

Because you have not done the following........I am pretty sure.

In Windows Explorer, first pick any folder and set it to the Detail View.

Next, on the Toolbar, click on Tools, then Folder Options.

Next, click on the tab named "View"......at the top you will see *Folder
Views* and below that "like current folder"......click on that. I believe
that should set all your folders to the Detail View mode.

Cheers.....Heather (and guys.....do correct me if I am wrong.....been a long
time since I had to do that, grin)
