Why is aioe.org dropping off all but two threads in this group?

Different servers retain postings for different lengths of time. This
is a function of how large a storage system (ie - hard drive) the server
has. With AIOE essentially being operated as a hobby, you can't expect
it to have a large storage capacity compared to what a corporate or
commercial server would have.

AIOE appears to have a retention period of about 40 days. The earliest
post I can find in various groups as of right now dates to about Sept
27.

That gives me a vague idea of what is going on.
Thanks to you and Hot-Text for clearing this up.
