Hi Shane,
Just seen your post on the ME ng and thought I'd better tell you that poor
Casey has died without going into my mails it's a couple of months ago I
think, he got very ill so in all kindness they had to have him put to sleep.
Figgs was very upset about it as I think he was 17 or thereabouts.

I'll give you a ring sometime before Christmas and hopefully catch the post
with you birthday card before it's too late,
Talk soon,
Joan

Yeah, talk to you earlier (? I think). Sad to hear that. But what with Rosie
being 10 now I had a feeling Casey must be getting on.

It is close to a year since my uncle's (black and white) cat died. Now
another black and white cat has turned up, apparently stray, and he's
feeding that. Poor little bugger is outside though and it's pretty cold now
(I know, I just went out in my dressing gown to see if herself was about).

Thanks Joan.....I didn't see this till now. Casey was 14.....but he weighed
in at 17 lbs. I still get teary-eyed trying to talk about him. Silly, I
know............especially as I have had various felines for 40 years, but
he was so special!! He ran this household, grin. He used to sleep on Ron's
lap till just before 11 pm and then yap at him to shut off the TV and go to
bed...............then led him downstairs from the family room so that he
got fed. What a character he was.

All the best for the holidays and thanks very much for the lovely card. We
sent off a bunch a couple of weeks ago, so it should be landing in your
mailbox hopefully before the 25th.

Hugs...............Heather.
