Hello:

I came across an interesting thread in the MSFN Forum that is listing "Last
Versions of Software for Windows 98SE, + Current Software Still Supported."
Of course, most, if not all, of these apply to Win ME as well as Win 98. To
view the thread, take a look at:

http://www.msfn.org/board/Last-Versions-of-Software-for-Windows-98SE-t105936.html .

Cheers,

Strange, I was also just over there... though with literally thousands of
programs written for the environment, it seems to be a never ending project.

Unfortunately, although the rev list may be accurate (???), the links
do not necessarilly lead to those revisions, nor are the listed revs
necessarilly available.

I assume this situation will only get worse, as there is no financial
incentive for the supplier to offer old revs, regardless of agressive
IP defense against other methods of distribution.

Still a good source for exploration, if the need should arise. <H>.

Rather interesting regarding Norton Ghost. Symantec bought out Powerquest
and its DriveImage program. Essentially Ghost 9.0 is DriveImage 2002 and DI
7.0. DI 7.0 came with DI 2002 on same CD retail. DI2002 was last to work
in 98/98SE/ME environment. Last I looked after the buyout, PQ DI 7.0/DI
2002 CD was still being sold, but dirt cheap.
