From one click to the next the whole picture changed for me in all my listed
news groups. Apparently it has something to do with my Windows Live Mail
(2011).
If I don't get an answer here, I will have to go to the appropriate group to
find it there.
Hoping to get lucky,

Harry.

Hope I am not being too hasty in saying that by now things seem to have
aligned themselves according to my will and that it might
remain this way, Rocky.
A lot of people are calling this 2011 version of Windows Live "Junk". I dare
say, they are wrong.
How about you?

Harry.

well like with any new thing, it takes some getting use too..
it seem the older I get the longer it takes to give in and learn the new
way.. ;-)

could be why I still got a machine running dos, win 95, win me... ;-)

but to the live 2011, I still haven't found how to set the check time for
email and NG's.. (ie... 10 mins 30 mins 2 hrs etc...)

and the thumb for image downloads instead of a full size display..

It hasn't crashed yet, per sey, but I did loose a group of NG downloads,
it seem 2011 only wants to do 50 or less at a time..

Sorry I can't help you with that, Rocky, because I am not interested in
either one of them. Would venture that it can be accessed somewhere in the
program. If not you might get an answer from the respective newsgroup.

Sometimes one quick click can do a lot of harm.
Whatever it was you did, you may be able to reverse it by clicking again in
that same area.
